3 October 2026. Beirut — In collaboration with ICANN At-Large, the Lebanese Cyberspace Association organized the “ACES Phishing Awareness & Digital Security Workshop” at Beirut Digital District (BDD).
It was a pleasure to lead and deliver the workshop alongside fellow members of LCA.
Over three highly interactive hours, on Saturday 3 October 2026, we engaged with participants through practical discussions, real-life examples, and shared experiences around phishing, digital scams, AI-powered threats, digital trust, and cyber resilience.
The active participation, questions, and exchanges throughout the session made the workshop particularly dynamic and rewarding, turning cybersecurity awareness into practical knowledge that can be applied in everyday digital life.

On 30 September 2026, a delegation from the Lebanese Cyberspace Association visited the Ministry of Technology & AI (MITAI) in Lebanon.

LCA President Amine Hacha, accompanied by Dr. Lina Hacha and Ms. Loulwa Ramadan, met with H.E. Dr. Kamal Shehadi, Lebanon’s Minister of State for Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the Association’s work, with particular attention to Lebanon Universal Acceptance Day, organized by LCA in collaboration with UNESCO and ICANN. The discussion highlighted the importance of Universal Acceptance (UA) in advancing a more inclusive and multilingual digital future for Lebanon.

7–10 July 2026 · Geneva — LCA took part in the information society conversation at WSIS Forum 2026 in Geneva, contributing to dialogue on an inclusive digital future.

6–7 July 2026 · Geneva — LCA participated in international dialogue on the governance of artificial intelligence, connecting the association’s work with wider discussions on responsible technology.

28 May 2026 · Beirut — Lebanon Universal Acceptance Day brought people and institutions together around a multilingual, accessible Internet. The event and subsequent consultation informed LCA’s September 2026 strategic framework.
